This vacation rental set on the quiet side of Lake Ann, not that any part of the lake is overly loud, near where the Platte River flows into the lake. One of our favorite things to do is paddle up the Platte River to Mud Lake, it is so peaceful and quiet. Our frontage has a clear sandy bottom that stretches for 16 lengths of our dock. The yard is nicely shaded, with a fire pit near the shore, and our homemade tether ball (the kids love it!). The sideyard has plenty of room for corn hole or other yard games. There is a basketball hoop in the back. There are kayaks available for your use, along with a paddle boat.
Inside the newly remodeled cottage, there are three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a queen, a bunk-type room with a queen, two bunks that are full size on the bottom and twin on top, and a small room with a twin trundle bed. You will also find two bathrooms and a laundry room. There is a beautiful gas fireplace if you are visiting in the colder months. The dining room table seats 8 people comfortably, with an extra three seats at the bar. The kitchen features a gas range, microwave, dishwasher, and a fridge with an ice maker and water dispenser. There are soft-close cupboard doors and beautiful white quartz counters. For those who like to grill, we have a charcoal grill available; it’s one of our favorite ways to cook when at the cottage! There are lots of DVDs on hand for a rainy day, as well as games and puzzles. We have cable tv and internet for your convenience, but I doubt you will want to use them, the outdoors will be calling!
The Village of Lake Ann has a lot to offer. The general store Lake Ann Grocery, which has groceries to hardware, is a must-stop while you are here. Red Door Coffee House has great organic coffee drinks, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches great sandwiches. Stone Oven, a lunch & dinner restaurant, has great food you can order there and they will deliver your food next door to Lake Ann Brewing Company which has a family atmosphere, great beer, & outside seating with live music. Next on the list would be the Corner Cone with soft serve ice cream, floats, shake, and much more. Lake Ann is located about 20 from minutes the Lake Michigan shore, Traverse City, and many of the charming little up north towns that we love to visit. For those who enjoy walking or running, Ransom Creek trail is located just north and east of the entrance onto Birch Glen Road. We love to walk there from the cottage and make the trip around Ransom Lake (about 3-4 miles round trip) This is a great vacation rental spot!

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Deposit can be refunded if canceled property can be rebooked, minus a $50 paperwork fee. Balance, security deposit (separate check) and cleaning fee are due 30 days prior to arrival.
